Manufacturing technology
From jumbo sheet to installed glass, on automated lines
AMG processes tempered, laminated, and insulating glass on automated cutting, high-convection tempering, and clean-room lamination lines. Every panel passes surface-stress, fragmentation, and dimensional checks before it leaves the plant.
- SNI certified
- Aligned with AS/NZS & ISO

How AMG processes architectural glass
CNC Cutting & Edge Processing
Jumbo sheets are cut on automated lines with nesting software that keeps offcuts low. Edges are ground, drilled, and notched to the working drawings before any panel enters the furnace, so tolerances are locked in early.
Thermal Toughening
High-convection furnaces heat glass evenly and quench it under controlled pressure. The result is tempered panels with consistent surface stress, low optical distortion, and several times the strength of annealed glass.
Lamination Assembly
PVB, SGP, and EVA interlayers are assembled in a clean room and cured in an autoclave. The process bonds glass and interlayer into one panel that holds together when broken.
Insulating Glass Units (IGU)
Dual-seal lines assemble two panes around a desiccant-filled spacer, then fill the cavity with argon to slow heat transfer through the facade.
Quality assurance
Every panel is tested before it ships
Quality control runs on measured data, not visual checks alone. Surface stress, optical distortion, fragmentation, and edge stress are recorded for each batch against SNI standards and project specifications.

FAQ
Questions project teams ask about our processing
What standards does AMG glass comply with?
All AMG products are certified to Indonesian SNI standards, and many product lines also align with AS/NZS and ISO requirements for architectural glazing.
Which interlayers are available for laminated glass?
AMG laminates with PVB, SGP, and EVA interlayers in a clean-room environment. Autoclave curing bonds the layers into a single panel that holds together when broken.
What tolerances does AMG hold during production?
Production is controlled to a dimensional tolerance of ±1.0 mm and an optical distortion limit below 0.08 mm, with fragmentation tests on every batch.
Does AMG produce insulated (double) glass units?
Yes. Insulating glass units are assembled on automated dual-seal lines with argon gas filling and desiccant spacers to improve thermal performance.
Where does AMG deliver?
AMG delivers nationwide across Indonesia and exports to 17 countries, with packing designed for long-distance transport.
